SONIC opens a SONIC Beach – first of its kind – in Homestead, Florida. SONIC Beach offers a new spin on the traditional SONIC Drive-In concept that captures the South Florida essence and compliments the culture.

The improved SONIC Beach design offers several notable upgrades, such as a stylish Patio area complete with professional landscape design, ten 60 inch state-of-the art LED flat screen TV’s, modern cushioned seating, a sand beach area with beach umbrellas and a powerful sound system that is always playing the hottest tunes from the 60s and 70s – think Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, Led Zepplin and the Rolling Stones. There is no doubt that the SONIC Beach group understands design and good music.

In addition to the Patio area, a SONIC Beach customer can use one of twenty available traditional SONIC Drive-in stalls, or the customary Drive-Thru lane is always an option.

SONIC Beach customers that use the Drive-In pull their car into the stall, push a button and place an order. A Sonic Car-Hop on roller skates, with wheels that light up, personally delivers the food to the customer; the average delivery time is 4 minutes. The customer can choose to eat while parked in the car, or they can take the order to go.

An advantage of SONIC over other fast-food restaurants is that the Drive-In stalls can be used as YOUR OWN PERSONAL Drive-Thru – think Drive-Thru, but without the line. The customer can simply pull into the stall, place the order and request it to be prepared TO GO.

Another notable feature, characteristic of SONIC restaurants, is that the food is made-to-order. In other words, food is only prepared after it is specifically ordered by a customer, so that the meal is always delivered fresh and hot.

SONIC Beach offers all of the traditional SONIC menu items, such as Cherry Limeades, Real Ice Cream, Tater Tots, Footlong Quarter Pound Coneys, Premium Beef Hot Dogs and SuperSONIC® Cheeseburgers, Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks and breakfast items, which are available for order all day. In addition to the traditional items, SONIC Beach will exclusively feature original menu innovations that include a Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich, Philly Cheesestakes, Popcorn Shrimp, Popcorn Chicken, and Island Sorbets.

And yes – it is true. SONIC Beach will be the only SONIC restaurant where you can enjoy a beer (or glass of wine) with your tater-tots and burger. SONIC Beach will be serving 28 flavors of Beer, several white and red wine selections and a little of the bubbly. That’s right. You can have it all at SONIC Beach, including Dom Perignon or Italian Prosecco – a less pricey alternative at $6 a glass.

More specifically, draft beers will include BUD LIGHT, MILLER LITE and HEINEKEN.
Bottled Beers will include crowd favorites, such as STELLA ARTOIS LAGER, GUINNESS, RED STRIPE LAGER, BLUE MOON WHEAT and BUDWEISER.
